Every so often, it is important for us to pause, gather in the same room, and realign on what matters most. In early December, our entire company spent three days together to reconnect, sharpen how we work, and set a shared direction for the months ahead.
This workshop was not a celebration or a routine meeting.
It was a focused moment to ask ourselves honest questions.
What are we doing well? What needs to change? Where should Vase.ai go next?

1. Strengthening BAU Brand Health as a Team
One of our core focuses was BAU Brand Health.
As we grows, more clients rely on consistent, always-on consumer insights. To support this, we aligned on how we plan, deliver, and manage BAU work so that it remains predictable, scalable, and high quality.
We reviewed what is working, where our processes slow down, and how cross-functional collaboration can make outcomes stronger and faster.
Although the details stay internal, the outcome was clear.
Everyone now shares a more unified understanding of how BAU flows, why it matters, and how to support it better.
2. Reflecting on Our Year of Growth
Before we can look ahead, we needed to look inward. The team took time to review how we performed throughout the year.
We discussed:
• Where we improved across product, marketing, customer success, sales, panel, and operations
• Where we executed well and what contributed to those wins
• Where our bottlenecks appeared and why
• What we want to bring forward into the new year
The reflection exercise was honest and energising. It reaffirmed something important.
A small team can make big progress when everyone pulls in the same direction.
3. Thinking Exercise: What Research Looks Like in 2027
One of the most energising moments of the workshop was a future-casting exercise centred on a simple question: How will market research be done in 2027?
We formed teams of 2 and explored future scenarios across technology, consumer behaviour, and the evolving expectations of brands and agencies. Each team discussed openly, challenged assumptions, and then presented back to the full group.
While every team had different viewpoints, a few themes consistently emerged:
- Speed and automation will define BAU research, freeing humans to focus on interpretation, strategy, and creativity
- AI will become a core collaborator, not a replacement for researchers
- Clients will expect real time learning loops, not campaigns that wait for post-mortems
- Everyday tools will become insight-enabled, making research more accessible and embedded in workflows
- Human empathy and contextual judgement remain critical, especially for brand, creative, and cultural work
The exercise gave us clarity and alignment on how Vase.ai should continue evolving: simplifying complex research workflows, reducing time to insight, and helping teams make confident decisions with always-on data.
4. Key Takeaways for How Vase.ai Moves Forward
