The Role 

We are seeking a passionate Data Operations Analyst with a vision for revolutionizing the landscape of Market Research. In this role, your daily activities will be marked by dynamic challenges, as we continually explore innovative approaches. Here is an overview of your responsibilities:
  • Survey Campaign Management: You will be responsible for shaping survey campaigns, making critical decisions on target audiences, methodologies, and timing.
  • Collaboration with Customer Success Team: Working closely with our Customer Success team, you will ensure that survey are aligned with strategic objectives and customer needs.
  • Engaging with Users: Your role involves active interaction with users through emails and various social media channels, fostering a responsive and customer-centric environment.
  • Social Media Management: You will oversee and maintain our social media accounts, ensuring they remain up-to-date and engaging.
  • User Support: Responding to user inquiries and providing support throughout their Vase experience will be a pivotal part of your role.
  • Tech Collaboration: Partner with our Engineering Team, you will identify and report bugs in our products and work towards resolving them.
  • Feature Testing and Feedback: You will play a key role in testing new product features and providing valuable feedback to both the Engineering and Product teams.
  • Product Familiarization: Gradually, you will develop a deep understanding of our products, enabling you to make well-informed decisions that contribute to our product roadmap.

What are we Looking For

  • Advanced Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel: Adept at utilizing Google Sheets and Excel with advanced capabilities to handle data analysis, reporting, and management tasks efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Possess a strong aptitude for technology, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and platforms to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges, devise effective solutions, and adapt swiftly to changing situations.
  • Resilience: Excel in challenging environments by tapping into your creativity and ingenuity to achieve goals and produce successful outcome.

  • Customer Support Excellence: A strong background in customer support, including resolving inquiries, addressing issues, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
  • International Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working effectively in multinational teams, highlighting cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills.
  • CRM Proficiency (HubSpot Preferred): Proficient in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, with a preference for experience with HubSpot, to manage customer interactions and data efficiently.
  • Effective Complaint Resolution: A track record of effectively addressing customer complaints and concerns, with a focus on problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
  • Fluency in Mandarin: Proficient in Mandarin, enabling effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or team members, and enhancing your market research capabilities in relevant regions.

The Process 

Even though Artificial Intelligence is something that we really love, when it comes to your application we are a bit old school. With that being said, we manually go over every CV and try to provide tailor made feedback (no ChatGPT). For the Data Operations Analyst position it will look like this:

The first 3 months of onboarding will look like this:

1st Month 

  1. Familiarize yourself with company processes and tools
  2. Understand how we manage fieldwork for survey projects 
  3. Complete practice fieldwork projects
  4. Shadow Alavi and the team while they are running fieldwork
  5. Understand how we manage customer support for GetVase users

2nd Month 

  1. Take full ownership of customer support for GetVase users
  2. Understand how we run feasibility studies for projects
  3. Start independently managing fieldwork for projects

3rd Month 

  1. Take full ownership of fieldwork for survey projects
  2. Take full ownership of running feasibility studies 
  3. You will be the primary point of contact for all things panel ops
